'Bitten by the travel bug at an early age', is how Ted Jones explains his obsession with travel. He spends at least half of his time 'on the road', and the proportion tends to increase every year. His travel writings have appeared in magazines in Britain, the United States and New Zealand, and his credits include The Guardian, Choice, France, Yesterday, Living France, P & O's Flagship Magazine, Transitions Abroad, Voyageur and Wanderlust. He has recently extended his range to include photography, and some of his works are featured on this site. He recently published two feature articles on walks across Paris, from north to south and from east to west respectively, and a biography of the Corsican soldier and leader, General Pascale Paoli. Ted's most recent journey retraced the five-year voyage of the Beagle - the journey of the 18th century anthropologist Charles Darwin around the South American coast. |
